I had so much fun out on court! Time to rest and recover\u201d. She had a three-set early exit in Montreal to former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova and is supposed to get ready for the upcoming US Open main draw later this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her recent jump in the rankings this year stemmed from defeating higher-seeded opponents that included then World No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the Miami Open back in March, as well as a finals appearance in the Eastbourne Open last June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of Saturday, August 2, 2025, Alexandra\u202fEala has slipped to No.\u202f67 in the WTA live singles rankings.
